The Treachery of Aesthetics
From graphic design and visual identities to choreography and performance, my artistic practice moves between the functional and the conceptual, the everyday and the existential. I am equally interested in the precision of a logo and the excess of kitsch, in the directness of an image and the complexity of a performative world. I reject the idea that artistic practice should follow trends or submit to the demands of contemporary taste. Instead, I approach aesthetics as a field of contradictions, where beauty can be excessive, function can become poetry, and appearances can reveal as much as they conceal.
